The movie starts with Jack, a poor farm boy who is tricked into selling his family's cow to a mysterious man in exchange for a few magic beans. Overnight, a giant beanstalk grows outside their farmhouse, leading to a magical world of giants.

The story follows Jack, a humble farmhand who inadvertently reopens a gateway between the human world and a race of vengeful giants. When a magical beanstalk carries Princess Isabelle into the sky, Jack joins the King’s elite guards on a perilous rescue mission. High above the clouds in the realm of Gantua, Jack must find the courage to face colossal foes and stop an invasion that threatens his entire kingdom.
