LightBurn 1.7.04

advertisement

Since 1.7.04 is a maintenance patch for the major 1.7 series, you should also be aware of the core 1.7 feature set:

: Fixed a bug where tabs in grouped shapes were not being generated immediately. Camera Calibration

xTool's parser behavior, which occasionally failed, was fixed to ensure proper G-code generation.

LightBurn version 1.7.04 is a minor primarily focused on stability and language support rather than major feature overhauls. It ensures that the software remains the industry standard for laser cutting and engraving through incremental bug fixes and user experience refinements. Key Updates in Version 1.7.04

Enhanced text creation/editing (via A icon), including easier font selection and welding. Scissor Tool: Allows for easier node editing.

Small details make a big difference. Version 1.7.04 introduces minor UI adjustments to improve readability on high-DPI screens and fixes alignment issues in the "Laser Documents" window.

Shotcut was originally conceived in November, 2004 by Charlie Yates, an MLT co-founder and the original lead developer (see the original website). The current version of Shotcut is a complete rewrite by Dan Dennedy, another MLT co-founder and its current lead. Dan wanted to create a new editor based on MLT and he chose to reuse the Shotcut name since he liked it so much. He wanted to make something to exercise the new cross-platform capabilities of MLT especially in conjunction with the WebVfx and Movit plugins.
