The proliferation of factory reset protection (FRP) and device locking mechanisms has led to the development of third-party unlocking tools. This paper presents a technical analysis of SAMFW Tool v4.2, a software utility designed to bypass Samsung device security features, including FRP, MDM (Mobile Device Management), and network locks. While positioned as a solution for legitimate device owners and repair technicians, the tool introduces significant security, legal, and ethical concerns. This report examines its operational mechanisms, identifies potential forensic applications, and discusses the inherent risks of misuse in theft and data compromise.

A significant addition in v4.2, this feature allows you to manage installed apps via ADB (Android Debug Bridge) directly from the tool.
