The story begins when Lloyd, a one-eyed (with a patch over the other eye) limousine driver, falls in love with a beautiful woman named Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly) at the airport. Mary is on her way to Aspen, Colorado, to meet her fiancé, but she accidentally leaves her briefcase behind, which contains her ticket and a ransom for her kidnapped husband.
