The term Mahapuja translates to "Great Worship." In the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, it is a comprehensive ritual worship ceremony involving the offering of various items to the deities. Unlike the daily Nitya Puja (daily worship) performed by individual devotees, the Mahapuja is often a longer, more elaborate congregation ritual.
