When a fire breaks out on set, Om saves Shantipriya, leading to a friendship. However, Shantipriya is secretly married to the arrogant, jealous producer Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal). When Shantipriya threatens to expose Mukesh’s crimes, he burns her alive on set and frames it as an accident. Om tries to save her but is also murdered.
